YamiPOd is a standalone software
(doesn't need installation), with a lot of
interesting features, among which the support of
playlist of various formats, a function to remove
the duplicated tracks or to find lacking files,
possibility to copy from or toward the iPod in AAC
and mp3 formats and a lot more.

FLOOLA
Floola is a valid iPod Manager, that doesn't need
installation and that can perform many tasks, among
which transfer songs from and toward the iPod,
manage the playlists, look for duplicated songs, add
video to the iPod, create lists of the contained
songs in the iPod in HTML (so that can be read
anywhere) and much more (like the compatibility with
iTunes).

GoPOD
This is an app that becomes extremely
useful with audio tracks with a very low
volume. In fact, because of a (comprehensible) law
of the European Union to safeguard the hearing of
the consumers, the maximum volume of the iPods has
been limited via software to a certain level.
This would be generally a good thing, nevertheless
at times there are tracks with a very low volume,
that are difficult to listen. Through this program
we can act on the firmware of the iPod, for removing
such limitation without touching the single tracks.

sharePOD
This is a program that directly runs from the iPod
and that allows to transfer the files from the iPod
to the pc and vice versa, without necessity to
install particular programs or add-ons on the same
pc.
There is also a discreet player, so we can listen to
the tracks that we like. A precious program, for who
wants directly to interact with his iPod.

iDUMP
It is a good
app for the karaoke on the pc, completely free. As
you know, our pc is a perfect tool for karaoke,
because it allows to have a good time without having
to buy some additional peripheral.
The graphics is simple and linear, the
functionality is immediate and easy for everybody.
Indeed recommended. Once that the file .kar is
loaded, text and music will automatically start
synchronized.

Jodix Free iPOD Video Converter
This is a nice software that allows to
convert various video formats to iPOD format. Among
the supported formats (avi, mpeg, wmv, rm, divx,
etc.), the DVD is included (DVDs are not only
converted, but even shrinked).
Jodix Free Ipod video converter is very simple to
use (just select the video to convert and click),
and it works well, better than some of shareware
competitors.
