Very good free application that keeps track of your Bank account, spending habits, and can define and create budgets. It can even keep track of your investments, like stocks, bonds, mutual funds or Employee Stock Purchase Plans (and more; can ever perform some interesting statistical analysis). 

The free version allows to manage ONE account (the shareware version allows multiple accounts), and supports multi currencies and multi languages.

A great business/financial software, open source, that has an incredible numer of features, from stock/bonds/mutual fund account to many kins of accounting; you can keep track of income and expenses, stocks, bank accounts, etc.

GnuCash is quite intuitive, but not extremely intuitive. It is really a great app (that can do almost everything in personal business/finanace), but you need a few time to fully master it..
