One of the best download free manager in this moment
(intending a download manager that doesn't install
spyware or other garbage on our computer), also open
source, thing that -for a download manager- worths a
further point of preference.
Free Download Manager has a lot of useful features,
among which: automatically divide a file in parts
for speeding up the download, beautiful graphical
user interface, resume of interrupted download and
automatic support of the principal browsers, among
which Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera.
At the beginning the setup could confuse, but in
reality you need only to download something to see
that everything is simple and linear: it immediately
works without touching almost anything.

TrueDownloader Open Source Download Manager. It
allows you to conduct several
concurrent downloads from different
sources optimizing speed and giving
you the option of interrupting and
resuming the download at a later
stage.
The graphic interface is not
the best; however, the benefit is
that this application does not
install spyware or other rubbish on
our pc.

Downloader A valid
download manager, perhaps also too much to be free.
Rather, in effects the fear is that sooner or later
it could become shareware and end like similar
programs (as Leechget or StarDownloader).
Its particularity, in comparison to the
competitors, is not to have only a good GUI (easily
configurabile) and to perfectly support multiple
downloads, but to have inside a kind of p2p engine
that allows to automatically share the files that it
is downloading among users of OrbitDownloader, with
the purpose to increase the speed; furthermore,
Orbit Downloader can also be integrated in many
browsers: Internet Explorer, Opera, Firefox and
Maxthon.
At the moment Orbit Downloader is recommended
(immediately after Free Download Manager, that is
also open source), hoping that it will remain
entirely free.
